CLIENT'S FAQs
What format are the photos in?
All Seeker Photos.com photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Seeker Photos.com photos that I download?
Yes. While Seeker Photos.com offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
PHOTOGRAPHER'S FAQS
Can I submit photos to sell?
Yes! Please register as a Photographer to begin submitting your images.
Photographers earn 50% of sales and the copyright remains with you but of course by selling through the library you are granting use of your images to Seeker Photos.com and any client.
Can I sell my photos through other outlets? Yes, of course - we claim no rights to exclusivity of your images, our aim is to provide an excellent service that benefits both image buyers and photographers.
What format do you want the photos in?
All photos should be uploaded as high resolution JPG's - it's best to send them at the image size they were shot at. It helps if you fill in the IPTC keywords, caption and title before you upload as the website will read this information and use it to label your images. Many image editing programs allow keywording including Aperture, and there are a number of IPTC editing applications - we use Informator Pro on our Mac's.
If the images are high-resolution, what's to stop unauthorised downloads?
All images are protected on the website by Copyright Watermarking, unwatermarked images are only available for download after purchase.
What advice can you give on Keywording?
Keywords are essential for buyers to be able to find your images. If you look at the image and try to assign keywords for all the elements of the image and any abstract concepts it may convey - for example an image of Bournemouth Pier during the summer may have the keywords - bournemouth, pier, sea, beach, tourist, sun, deckchairs (if visible0, etc, etc. We found this great article online full of useful tips:

Can I add my byline onto the image?
Sorry, all of the files that you upload are the actual files that clients will download, please don't add any text to image file. Additionally, please don't add any contact details or byline to the image description or keywords, thanks.
What are the Rights and Release Management areas of the image upload area?
Just leave the Rights Management area blank, all of the images we sell are Royalty Free with the proviso that clients do not then sell them on, Release management refers to having a signed Model or Property release, these are helpful if your image features a person, property or vehicle who may be recognisable in a significant part of the image. Only tick these if you have them, if not we will make a decision over whether or not to include the image in the library.
